What is a MezIO Card?
MezIO is the name of a series of I/O cards that are exclusive to the manufacturer Neousys.
The I/O card sits horizontal to the motherboard in a mezzanine space in the chassis. This approach allows for the card to be securely fixed with a special connector and screws making it a rugged part of the package. The “sandwich” design allows products using MezIO cards to remain compact.
Few MezIO cards are completely internal, and many have outputs with ports through the chassis. Some products have pre-cut knockouts, and others require new endplates for the MezIO to fit. Consult the specifications sheet or a sales resource for an exact match.
