What is Typical Service Turnaround?
Several factors affect how long your equipment might be with CoastIPC. Speed of shipping, type of problem, and availability of parts are all important factors.
Issues that can be fixed over the phone or remote connection take between 1-3 days to initiate service and are occasionally solved within hours. If hands-on intervention is required in our Hingham, Massachusetts shop, consider the shipping speed as a factor in turnaround that you can control.
Issues that can be solved in our shop typically take 3-7 days for resolution. If under warranty, we will return the package with ground shipping. You can again affect turnaround by requesting expedited shipping with an additional fee (or on your account).
Occasionally, serious issues must go to the central USA office, or be shipped to Taiwan for advanced analysis and/or parts replacement. This process takes on average 2-3 weeks. Delays will occur when there are repair component shortages. For products under warranty, you will not be charged for shipping beyond Hingham, MA.
Our service group does its best to provide estimates at every step of the analysis and will not provide a specific turnaround time on any service request. Do not hesitate to contact us regarding the progress of your repair.
