How-to Guides
- Power off the unit and disconnect the power supply.
- Access the SODIMM slot inside the chassis.
- Remove the existing 4 GB DDR3L SODIMM module if upgrading.
- Install a compatible DDR3L SODIMM module, up to 8 GB maximum supported capacity.
- Reassemble the chassis and reconnect power.
- Power off the unit and disconnect the power supply.
- Open the HDD/SSD bay (item A on the rear view).
- Insert the 2.5" SATA SSD into the bay.
- Secure the drive and close the bay cover.
- Reconnect power and boot the system.
- Power off the unit and disconnect the power supply.
- Locate the iDoor slot (item B on the rear view), which uses the full-size mini PCIe slot with mSATA support.
- Install the desired iDoor module, such as a fieldbus, isolated digital I/O, additional LAN, or communication module.
- Connect any required external antenna to the antenna port (item H) if the module requires wireless connectivity.
- Reassemble the chassis and reconnect power.
- Choose a mounting method: desktop, wall, panel, or VESA (100 x 100 mm).
- For panel mounting, prepare a cutout of 303 x 229 mm (11.93 x 9.02 in) in the mounting surface.
- Insert the unit into the cutout or attach using the VESA mount kit as appropriate.
- Secure the unit according to the selected mount hardware.
- Connect power and I/O cables to the rear panel.
