Tariff Information

Many of the components in CoastIPC computers are manufactured in Taiwan. Although the cost of these goods will experience normal fluctuation, a new import tariff paid to the United States Government is necessary to bring the goods to our facility in Hingham, Massachusetts. These tariffs increase overall production costs. 

For many years, we have annually reviewed the opportunity to source components from the United States. There are very few US suppliers, none of which use 100% US-sourced materials. They are not suited in type or volume to support CoastIPC and your needs.

CoastIPC has been unable to mitigate the size of the tariff through cost adjustments or alternative suppliers. Therefore, we must revise our prices. We will do our best to absorb some of the tariff and to maintain transparency. The additional cost will be expressed as a line item before the total.

It has been our constant practice to source the finest components to build your computers. We will continue to find not only the highest-performing and most reliable items, but also those that reflect quality and value.
