The PPC-324W-PN40AU accepts a wide-range DC input of 12 ~ 24 VDC and has a power consumption of 70W.
Operating temperature depends on the storage configuration: 0 ~ 50 °C (32 ~ 122 °F) when using an SSD, or 0 ~ 40 °C (32 ~ 104 °F) when using an HDD. Storage temperature range is -20 ~ 60 °C (-4 ~ 140 °F).
The unit is certified for EMC compliance under CE, FCC Class B, BSMI, and EN 60601-1-2, and safety compliance under CB, UL, and CCC. The front panel is IP65 compliant.
The system supports 1 x SODIMM DDR3L 1600/1866 memory module, up to a maximum of 8 GB. Storage options include 1 x 2.5" SATA bay (optional, requires a bracket module for installation) and 1 x mSATA bay. A single Mini PCIe expansion slot is also provided.

The PPC-324W-PN40AU is the same 23.8" widescreen panel PC with PCT multi-touch and Intel Pentium® N4200 quad-core processor as the PPC-324W-PN40A, but it is designated for U.S. only.
How-to Guides
- Obtain the
PPC-HDD-N4200HDD bracket module, which is required to install a 2.5" SATA drive in this system. - Mount the 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD into the bracket module.
- Install the bracket module assembly into the internal 2.5" SATA bay of the PPC-324W-PN40AU.
- Note that using an SSD allows for an extended operating temperature range of 0 ~ 50 °C, while an HDD limits operation to 0 ~ 40 °C.
- Locate the internal mSATA bay for storage expansion.
- Locate the internal Mini PCIe expansion slot, which can also accommodate the optional
PPC-WLAN-C1EM.2 Wi-Fi module with antenna cable. - Install the chosen mSATA drive or Mini PCIe/Wi-Fi module into the appropriate slot.
- Route the antenna cable (if installing the Wi-Fi module) to the designated antenna opening on the enclosure.
- Confirm the power source supplies within the accepted wide-range DC input of 12 ~ 24 VDC.
- Connect the power leads to the DC-In terminal labeled "H" on the I/O panel.
- Ensure the connected power supply can support the system's power consumption of 70W.
- Use one of the listed compatible power cords/adapters (e.g.
96PSA-A90W19OT-3) if an external power supply is required.
- Select the appropriate mounting accessory:
