The AIR-030 accepts a wide-range DC input of 9~36V through its power input connector. It supports both ATX and AT power modes, with ATX as the default (selectable via the JPSON1 jumper).
With the AGX Orin 32GB module, the AIR-030 operates from -10 to 60°C with 0.7 m/s air flow. With the AGX Orin 64GB module, the operating range is -10 to 55°C with 0.7 m/s air flow (TDP mode 50W). Storage temperature range is -40 to 85°C.
The AIR-030 is certified to IEC 61000-6-4 (Heavy Industry) and is AWS Greengrass Certified. EMC/Safety certifications include CE, FCC Class B, CB, UL, CCC and BSMI. Note: it does not carry an RED certificate.
The AIR-030 supports:

The AIR-030 comes pre-loaded with Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and NVIDIA JetPack 5.1.2 (JetPack 5.0 SDK per the datasheet). Its software API is Edge AI SDK compatible.
The standard single-layer AIR-030 measures 200 x 220 x 74 mm (7.87 x 8.66 x 2.91 in) and weighs 3.63 kg. An optional dual-layer configuration (with expansion kit) measures 200 x 220 x 123 mm (7.87 x 8.66 x 4.84 in). The unit supports wall mounting.
The AIR-030-B90A1 uses the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB module with an 8-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and a 1792-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 56 Tensor Cores, delivering up to 200 Sparse TOPS (INT8) and a TDP of 15~30W. Operating temperature is -10 to 60°C.
The AIR-030-S30A1 uses the AGX Orin 64GB module with a 12-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and a 2048-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 64 Tensor Cores, delivering up to 275 Sparse TOPS (INT8) and a TDP of 15~50W. Operating temperature is -10 to 55°C.
The AIR-030 reserves four antenna sockets (labeled ANT) for wireless/LTE device antennas. Wireless/5G connectivity can be added via the M.2 2280 B Key slot (NVME/5G) or the M.2 2230 E Key slot (Wi-Fi), and a thermal kit (AMK-A0045) is available for using PoE/5G on the AIR-030.
How-to Guides
- Loosen the 6 screws on the left and right side of the AIR-030.
- Loosen the 6 screws on the bottom cover and remove it.
- Install the M.2 2280 B/B+M Key module.
- Secure the bottom cover with its 6 screws and the 6 side-plate screws.
- Loosen the 6 screws on the left and right side of the AIR-030.
- Loosen the 6 screws on the bottom cover and remove it.
- Install the M.2 2230 E Key module.
- Secure the bottom cover with its 6 screws and the 6 side-plate screws.
- Loosen the 6 screws on the left and right side of the AIR-030.
- Loosen the 6 screws on the bottom cover and remove it.
- Install the PoE module and secure it with 4 screws.
- Connect the power cable between the PoE module (POE_PWR1) and the motherboard (POE_PWR1).
- Secure the bottom cover with its 6 screws and the 6 side-plate screws.
- Replace the I/O door plate with the heatsink for the PoE module and fasten the four screws back onto the system.
Note: Ensure the thermal pads are placed as instructed before installation.
- Remove the bottom cover: loosen the 6 screws on the left and right side of the AIR-030, and loosen the 6 screws on the bottom cover.
- Screw the AMO-R039 riser card onto the expansion kit.
- Assemble the two mechanical parts for the second layer, and fasten the screws on the front and rear plate.
- Stack the expansion layer with the system and fasten three screws on each rear side.
- Secure the bottom cover with its 6 screws and the 6 side-plate screws.
- Locate the COM port switch for the desired port (COM1_SW1, COM2_SW1, COM4_SW1, or COM5_SW1).
- For RS-232 (default), leave all pins OFF.
- For RS-422, set Pin1 ON, Pin2 OFF, and use Pin3 to enable/disable termination as needed.
- For RS-485 with software flow control, set Pin1 ON, Pin2 ON, Pin3 OFF, Pin4 ON.
- For RS-485 with hardware flow control, set Pin1 ON, Pin2 ON, Pin3 ON, and Pin4 to select Receiver (ON) or Transmitter (OFF) with termination enabled.
