The ITA-580 accepts a wide-range 24 - 110VDC power input, compliant with EN 50155, delivered via a 1 x M12 K-Coded (M) 5-pin connector. It also supports an ignition enable range of 10 to 30VDC with 2.5KV isolation.
Operating temperature (with industrial SSD) is -40 ~ 70 °C, and non-operating temperature is -40 ~ 85 °C. Humidity range is 5% ~ 95% at 40 °C, non-condensing.

Dimensions (W x H x D) are 260 x 88 x 197.2 mm (10.24 x 3.46 x 7.76 inch), or 314 x 95 x 197.2 mm (12.36 x 3.74 x 7.76 inch) with the mounting kit installed. The unit is installed via wall-mount using a mounting bracket, and carries an IP40 ingress protection rating.
The ITA-580 supports advanced 5G and Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity through Advantech iDoor technology and its multi-expandable expansion sockets, which also support GPS, MVB, and CANBus modules. Note that the device does not carry RED certification.
The ITA-580 series is offered in four processor configurations:
- ITA-580-W9A2: Xeon W-11865MLE, 16GB RAM, ECC onboard
- ITA-580-W7A2: i7-11850HE, 16GB RAM, non-ECC
- ITA-580-W5A1: i5-11500HE, 8GB RAM, non-ECC
- ITA-580-W0A1: Celeron 6600HE, 8GB RAM, non-ECC
All four SKUs share the same I/O configuration: 3 onboard Ethernet ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, 4 USB 3.2 ports, up to 4 x 2.5" SSD bays, 1 mSATA slot, 2 COM ports, 2 mPCIe/M.2 slots, 4-bit DI/4-bit DO, 2 DP ports, and 24VDC ~ 110VDC power input.
How-to Guides
- Locate the SSD easy-swap tray on the front of the ITA-580, which holds up to 4 x 2.5" 7mm SSDs.
- Install SSDs into the tray to configure RAID 0, 1, 5, or 10 as required.
- Optionally use the FRU-ITASSD-0001 2-layer SSD kit accessory when adding additional drives.
- Confirm the input voltage is within the supported 24 - 110VDC range, compliant with EN 50155.
- Connect the power source to the 1 x M12 K-Coded (M) 5-pin power connector on the unit.
- Optionally use the FRU-ITAPWR-0004 M12 K-Coded 5-pin female power cable (1m) accessory to make the connection.
- If using the ignition function, ensure the ignition input is within the 10 to 30VDC range (2.5KV isolation).
- Attach the mounting bracket to the unit chassis.
- Note that with the mounting kit installed, the unit dimensions become 314 x 95 x 197.2 mm (12.36 x 3.74 x 7.76 inch).
- Secure the bracket and unit to the wall mounting surface.
- Identify the iDoor expansion IO location on the rear of the unit.
- Install the desired communication module (5G, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, MVB, or CANBus) into the multi-expandable socket.
- Optionally use the 1960065854N001 bracket for iDoor expansion module to secure the module.
- For SIM-based modules, insert micro SIM cards into the M.2 B+M key slot's dual micro SIM card slots as needed (up to 4 micro SIM slots total).
