The ITA-8120 accepts 24/48/72/110 V DC (±40%) power, connected via an M12 A-coded 4 pin (male) connector.
The ITA-8120 operates from -40 to 70 °C (-40 to 158 °F), with tolerance up to 85 °C (185 °F) for 10 minutes, meeting EN 50155 temperature class OT4+ST1. Storage temperature range is -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F).

The ITA-8120 has a 12.1" TFT LCD panel with 1024 x 768 (XGA) resolution, 600 nits brightness, and 1000:1 contrast ratio. It uses a projected capacitive multi-touch touchscreen with automatic brightness adjustment via a built-in light sensor. It also includes 32 function keypads compliant with the UIC 612-01 layout.
The ITA-8120 supports optional expansion modules for MVB, CAN, and GSM-R. An optional expansion kit (ITA8-3SMA-01) can provide additional connections for GPS, WiFi, LTE, or GSM-R. Contact the manufacturer for more details on these expansion options. Note that the base unit has no RED certification.
