The system supports the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module with either 16GB or 8GB LPDDR5 memory. For storage, it includes 1 x M.2 2280 slot (PCIe x1, Gen 4) and 1 x Micro SD card slot. The system BSP is pre-installed on a 128GB NVMe M.2 SSD.

What expansion options are available?

The MIC-712-OX supports several expansion options:

  • 1 x M.2 E-key (2230, PCIe + USB 2.0)
  • 1 x M.2 B-key (3052, USB)
  • Optional TPM 2.0 module
  • Optional MIPI connector for GMSL expansion
  • Optional RS-232/422/485 serial port (on-board pin header reserved)
  • Optional CANBus port (on-board pin header reserved)

The MIC-712-OX accepts a DC input voltage range of 19 ~ 36 V.

What is the operating temperature range and environmental rating?

The system operates from -20 to 70 °C with 0.7 m/s airflow. It is rated for 95% humidity at 40 °C (non-condensing), 3 Grms vibration (5-500 Hz, random, 1 hr/axis), and 10G/11ms shock.

What certifications does the MIC-712-OX have?

The MIC-712-OX is certified CE, FCC, UKCA, CB, UL, BSMI, and CCC. Note: it does not have RED certification.

What are the dimensions and weight of the MIC-712-OX?

The unit measures 160 x 160 x 60 mm (6.3" x 6.3" x 2.36") and weighs 2.05 kg without packing material. It is designed for desktop installation.

What operating system / software support is provided?

The MIC-712-OX runs on NVIDIA Jetpack JP6.2 or above as its board support package (BSP).

What is the difference between the MIC-712-OX4A1 and MIC-712-OX3A1 SKUs?

The MIC-712-OX4A1 uses the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module with 16GB memory, while the MIC-712-OX3A1 uses the 8GB memory version. Both come with a 128GB NVMe M.2 SSD pre-installed with the system BSP.

How-to Guides

Recover the system using the Micro USB recovery cable
  1. Locate the Micro USB cable for system recovery included in the packing list.
  2. Connect the Micro USB cable to the system's Micro USB debug console or OTG port as required for recovery mode.
  3. Follow NVIDIA Jetpack recovery procedures to reflash or restore the system.
Wire the DC power input
  1. Confirm the power source supplies DC voltage within the 19 ~ 36 V input range.
  2. Use the included 2-pin power connector (part number 1652002202) to connect the power source to the system.
  3. Optionally, use one of the listed power adapters (e.g., 96PSA-A65W19P2-1, 100-240V 65W 19V) with an appropriate regional power cord for AC-to-DC conversion.
Install the mounting bracket
  1. Locate the 2 mounting brackets and 4 mounting screws (part number 1930007979) included in the packing list.
  2. Attach the mounting brackets to the system chassis using the provided screws.
  3. Secure the system in the desired desktop installation location using the mounting brackets.
