How-to Guides

Wire the DC power input
  1. Confirm your power source supplies between 9~36V DC, with a rated 12V input.
  2. Use the included power terminal block (4P) to connect the DC power lines to the unit.
  3. Select AT or ATX power mode as required; note that AT is the factory default.
Connect CANbus devices
  1. Locate the 2 x CANbus interfaces on the MIC-732-AO.
  2. Use the included CANbus Plug-In Block (2x3P) to wire your CAN devices to the corresponding CANbus port.
Recover the system using the Micro USB recovery cable
  1. Locate the USB micro B port designated for UART/debug on the unit.
  2. Connect the included Micro USB cable for system recovery between the unit and a host PC.
  3. Press the onboard Reset/Recovery button to initiate recovery mode.
Mount the MIC-732-AO
  1. Choose either a desktop or wall-mount installation, as both are supported.
  2. Ensure sufficient clearance around the unit, accounting for its 192 x 203 x 90 mm dimensions (with heat sink) and the required 0.7 m/s air flow for rated operating temperature.
