How-to Guides

Install or Replace the M.2 NVMe Storage Drive
  1. Locate the M.2 2280 M-key NVMe slot (PCIe x4) on the MIC-743-AT.
  2. Install a compatible M.2 2280 NVMe drive, such as the optional SQF PCIe/NVMe Gen.4 M.2 2280 OPAL drives (2TB or 4TB) listed in the ordering information.
  3. Note that units may ship with a 1TB NVMe drive pre-installed depending on part number ordered.
Install a WiFi or LTE Expansion Module
  1. For WiFi, use the M.2 2230 E-key slot (PCIe x1 + USB2.0). An optional Wi-Fi 6 + BT module (EWM-W179M201E) is available with antenna cables and dipole antennas.
  2. For LTE, use the M.2 3052/3042 B-key slot (USB3.0 + USB2.0).
  3. Insert a Nano SIM card into the SIM card slot on the side of the board if using an LTE module.
Wire the DC Power Input
  1. Use the supplied 2-pin terminal block connector for power input.
  2. Connect a DC power source within the 19-36V input range to the terminal block.
  3. Optionally, use the included AC/DC adapter (100-240V input, 230W, 24V output) with an appropriate power cord for your region.
