The unit takes an 8~35VDC input via a 3-pin pluggable terminal block. A separate 3-pin pluggable terminal block is provided for remote control and PWR LED output. Optional AC/DC power adapters are available: a 280W adapter (24V/11.67A) and a 480W DIN-rail mount adapter (24V/20A, 90~264VAC input).
Operating temperature is -25°C to 60°C with a 35W CPU and NVIDIA 120W GPU. With a 65W CPU and NVIDIA 120W GPU, the range is -25°C to 60°C when configured in 35W TDP mode, or -25°C to 50°C when configured in 65W TDP mode. Storage temperature is -40°C to 85°C. Note: for sub-zero operation a wide-temperature HDD or SSD is required, and for i7-9700E/i7-8700 running at 65W the max operating temperature is limited to 50°C with possible thermal throttling under sustained full load.
Humidity tolerance is 10%~90%, non-condensing. The unit meets MIL-STD-810G vibration (Method 514.6, Category 4) and shock (Method 516.6, Procedure I, Table 516.6-II) standards, and EMC compliance is CE/FCC Class A per EN 55032 & EN 55024.
Storage: 2x internal SATA ports for 2.5" HDD/SSD (supporting RAID 0/1), 1x M.2 2280 M-key socket (PCIe Gen3 x4) for NVMe SSD or Intel Optane memory, and 1x full-size mSATA port (mux with mini-PCIe).
Memory: up to 64GB DDR4 2666/2400 SDRAM across two SODIMM slots.
Expansion: 2x PCIe x16 slots at Gen3 (8-lane PCIe signals in cassette) supporting a 120W NVIDIA GPU card and/or COTS CameraLink and CoaXPress camera interface cards. There is also 1x full-size mini PCI Express socket with internal SIM socket (mux with mSATA), and 1x M.2 2242 B-key socket with dual front-accessible SIM sockets supporting dual SIM mode with a selected M.2 LTE module.
The Nuvis-7306RT measures 240mm (W) x 225mm (D) x 111mm (H) and weighs 3.7 kg. It is designed for wall mounting.
The unit has a mini PCI Express socket with an internal SIM socket (mux with mSATA), and a separate M.2 2242 B-key socket with dual front-accessible SIM sockets that supports dual SIM mode when used with a selected M.2 LTE module.
The Nuvis-7306RT provides 2x PCIe x16 slots at Gen3 (8-lane PCIe signals in cassette) that can accommodate a 120W NVIDIA GPU card and/or COTS CameraLink and CoaXPress camera interface cards, enabling GPU-accelerated deep learning vision processing.
Both models are Intel 9th/8th-Gen Core i machine vision controllers with vision-specific I/O and GPU computing support. The difference is the real-time I/O controller firmware: the -DTIO model uses the patented DTIO V2 controller, while the -NuMCU model uses the patented NuMCU controller.
The Nuvis-7306RT uses an LGA1151 socket supporting Intel 9th/8th-Gen Coffee Lake CPUs: Core i7-9700E, i7-9700TE, i7-8700, i7-8700T, i5-9500E, i5-9500TE, i5-8500, or i5-8500T (65W/35W TDP). It uses the Intel Q370 platform controller hub with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630. It also supports Intel AMT 12.0 and TPM 2.0.
How-to Guides
- Locate the 3-pin pluggable terminal block labeled for DC input on the unit.
- Connect a DC power source rated between 8~35VDC to the terminal block.
- If using an optional power adapter, the PA-280W-ET2 (280W, 24V/11.67A) or PA-480W-DIN (480W, 24V/20A DIN-rail mount) can be used with the terminal block connections provided.
- Use the separate 3-pin pluggable terminal block for remote control and PWR LED output as needed.
- For 2.5" HDD/SSD, use one of the 2 internal SATA ports; these can be configured for RAID 0/1.
- For an NVMe SSD or Intel Optane memory, install into the M.2 2280 M-key socket (PCIe Gen3 x4).
- For an mSATA storage device, use the full-size mSATA port (note this is muxed with the mini-PCIe slot, so both cannot be used simultaneously in that configuration).
- Identify the 2x PCIe x16 slots (Gen3, 8-lane PCIe signals) located in the expansion cassette.
- Install a 120W NVIDIA GPU card into one of the PCIe x16 slots for GPU-accelerated vision processing.
- Alternatively, install a COTS CameraLink or CoaXPress camera interface card into the available PCIe x16 slot.
- Locate the M.2 2242 B-key socket, which has dual front-accessible SIM sockets.
- Install a supported M.2 LTE module into this socket.
- Insert SIM cards into the front-accessible SIM sockets to enable dual SIM mode.
- Alternatively, the mini PCI Express socket (with internal SIM socket, muxed with mSATA) can be used for a cellular module if mSATA storage is not in use.
- The Nuvis-7306RT is designed for wall mounting.
- Confirm the unit's footprint (240mm W x 225mm D x 111mm H) and weight (3.7 kg) fit the intended installation location before mounting.
