The platform is designed for NVIDIA® RTX A6000 and RTX A4500 GPU cards, connected via an x16 PEG PCIe port. It includes a dedicated GPU card bracket and Neousys' patented damping brackets to secure the card under shock and vibration.

The Nuvo-8108GC-QD supports up to 128 GB of ECC or non-ECC DDR4 2133 SDRAM across four SODIMM slots.

What are the power input requirements?

The system accepts an 8~48V wide-range DC input through two 4-pin pluggable terminal blocks, with built-in ignition power control.

What is the operating temperature range?

Operating temperature depends on CPU TDP configuration and GPU installation: -25°C to 60°C with a 35W CPU and one NVIDIA® RTX A6000/A4500 GPU, -25°C to 60°C when a 65W+ CPU is configured in 35W TDP mode, and -25°C to 50°C when configured in 65W TDP mode. Storage temperature is -40°C to 85°C. For i7-9700/8700 running at 65W mode, the highest operating temperature is limited to 50°C and thermal throttling may occur under sustained full load; CPU power mode can be configured in the BIOS. For high-temperature operation, a wide-temperature HDD or SSD is required.

What storage options are available?

The system provides one hot-swappable HDD tray for 2.5" HDD/SSD installation, one internal SATA port for a 2.5" HDD/SSD supporting RAID 0/1, one M.2 2280 M key socket (PCIe Gen3 x4) for an NVMe SSD or Intel® Optane™ memory, and two full-size mSATA ports (muxed with mini-PCIe).

What expansion slots does the system have?

Expansion options include one PCIe x16 slot (8 lanes, Gen3), one PCIe x8 slot (4 lanes, Gen3), one M.2 2242 B key socket supporting dual SIM mode with selected M.2 LTE modules, and two full-size mini-PCIe sockets.

How-to Guides

Install a 2.5" HDD/SSD via the Hot-Swap Tray
  1. Locate the hot-swappable HDD tray on the front of the unit.
  2. Remove the tray from the chassis.
  3. Install a 2.5" HDD or SSD into the tray.
  4. Re-insert the tray into the hot-swap bay.

Note: An internal SATA port is also available for a 2.5" HDD/SSD, and it can be configured with the tray-mounted drive for RAID 0/1.

Wire the DC Power Input
  1. Confirm the power source is within the supported 8~48V DC wide-range input.
  2. Connect the DC supply leads to one of the two 4-pin pluggable terminal blocks located on the rear panel.
  3. The system includes built-in ignition power control for automotive/vehicle power scenarios.
Configure CPU TDP Mode in BIOS
  1. Enter the system BIOS at startup.
  2. Locate the CPU power configuration setting.
  3. Select either 35W or 65W TDP mode depending on the CPU installed and the operating environment.
  4. Note that selecting 65W mode limits the highest guaranteed operating temperature to 50°C, and thermal throttling may occur under sustained full-load conditions for i7-9700/8700 processors.
Secure the GPU Card with the Dedicated Bracket
  1. Install the NVIDIA® RTX A6000 or A4500 GPU card into the x16 PEG PCIe slot.
  2. Attach the dedicated GPU card bracket to hold the card firmly in place.
  3. Use Neousys' patented damping brackets to secure the assembly against shock and vibration.
