- Identify the available M.2 slots: M.2 M Key 2280 (supports SATA or NVMe PCIe x4) and M.2 B Key 2242 (supports SATA/PCIe, also compatible with 3042/3052 5G modules).
- Select a compatible module based on the intended use (storage vs. 5G/SIM module).
- Insert the module into the corresponding M.2 slot inside the chassis, following standard M.2 installation practice.
- If installing a 5G module, also install the SIM into the M.2 B Key 4G/5G SIM slot.
- Locate the default HDD/SSD bay on the rear of the unit (marked as position A in the rear view diagram).
