How-to Guides
- Use a power source rated 10-36V DC, 1.5-5.4A, with a maximum temperature (Tmax) of 60°C (140°F).
- Insert the positive and negative wires into the V+ and V- contacts on the terminal block connector.
- Secure the wire-clamp screws to prevent the DC wires from loosening.
- Use wires from 14-24 AWG (8A) with a torque value of 7.0 lb-in and a pitch of 5.08mm; use copper conductors only.
- Ensure the input connection cable has a temperature rating above 105°C (221°F).
- Lift the back cover and remove the 4 rubber feet and mounting buttons.
- Secure the HDD bracket to the back cover using 4 screws.
- Insert the SATA cable and secure it with 2 screws on the back cover.
- Reattach the back cover, screws, and rubber feet.
- Remove the bottom cover: take off the 4 rubber feet, remove 2 screws from the back cover, then slide the cover into the open position and lift it off.
- Remove the pre-installed screws at the M.2 slot location.
- Insert the appropriate card: M.2 2242 (M key) for NVMe/SSD storage, or M.2 3042/3052 (B key) for an LTE/5G cellular module. For 3052 B key cards, also remove the converter bracket before installing.
- Replace the screws to secure the card.
- Close the bottom cover, reattach the 2 screws, and replace the 4 rubber feet.
- Remove the back cover and the pre-installed screws.
- Insert the mPCIe card into the MINIPCIE1 slot.
- Replace the screws to secure the card.
- Locate the chassis grounding point on the unit.
- Use the included 16 AWG grounding cable from the accessory bag.
- Connect the chassis ground to the Earth ground using this cable.
