How-to Guides
- Power off the TPC-317 and disconnect the 24 V DC power supply.
- Locate the M.2 M Key 2280 slot (SATA or NVMe PCIe x4) or M.2 B Key 2242 slot (SATA/PCIe, also usable for a 4G/5G module such as 3042 or 3052).
- Insert the appropriate M.2 module into the target slot.
- Secure the module and reassemble the unit before reconnecting power.
- Power off the TPC-317.
- Access the iDoor slot on the rear of the unit.
- Install the desired iDoor module, such as isolated RS-422/485, isolated RS-232, Gigabit Ethernet, isolated digital I/O, CANBus, Wi-Fi, or LTE/HSPA+/GPRS.
- Reassemble the housing and power the unit back on.
- Choose a mounting method: VESA mount, desktop stand, wall mount, or panel mount.
- For panel mounting, prepare a cutout of 401.3 x 334.8 mm (15.80 x 13.18 in) in the mounting surface.
- Insert the unit into the cutout or attach the appropriate mounting bracket per the chosen method.
- Secure the unit in place, ensuring the front bezel and chassis grounding protection remain intact.
- Confirm the power source supplies 24 V DC ± 20%.
- Connect the power cable to the power receptor on the rear I/O panel of the TPC-317.
