The MIC-710AI uses a 2-pin terminal block power connector and accepts DC 19-24V input. The datasheet lists a matching power adapter rated 19-24V at 1.5A-1.18A.
The MIC-710AI is rated for operation from -10 to +60°C (14 to 140°F), with the datasheet noting this figure applies with 0.7 m/s airflow in Max-P ARM mode. Operating humidity is rated at 95% at 40°C, non-condensing. Storage temperature range is -40 to 85°C, and storage humidity is rated at 60°C @ 95% RH non-condensing.
The MIC-710AI includes 16GB of onboard eMMC 5.1 storage and 4GB of LPDDR4 memory (Jetson NANO configuration). For expansion, it provides one internal M.2 2280 slot (M key, SATA interface) for an SSD, one internal MiniPCIe slot, and one Micro SD card slot supporting the SD 4.0 specification (without UHS-II).
The MIC-710AI ships with Linux Ubuntu 18.04 with JetPack as the supported operating system and board support package (BSP).
The MIC-710AI measures 147 x 118 x 52 mm (5.78" x 4.65" x 2.47") and weighs approximately 1.2 kg. It supports desktop or DIN rail installation, with mounting brackets included and a DIN rail bracket available as an optional accessory.
The MIC-710AI is built around the NVIDIA Jetson NANO module (Quad Core ARM Cortex A57 CPU, Maxwell GPU with 128 CUDA cores, 4GB LPDDR4 memory), while the MIC-710AIX is built around the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX module (6-core NVIDIA Carmel CPU, Volta GPU with 384 CUDA cores and 48 tensor cores, 8GB LPDDR4 memory). Both share the same 16GB eMMC 5.1 storage and the same I/O set.
The MIC-710AI is certified CE/FCC/BSMI/CCC. Note that it does not carry RED certification.
How-to Guides
- Prepare a host PC to perform the update.
- Shut down the MIC-710AI/MIC-710AIX.
- Connect the host PC to the MIC-710AI/MIC-710AIX internal Micro USB port using the supplied USB cable.
- Press and hold the internal SW_REC1 button.
- While still holding SW_REC1, press the SW_RST1 button.
- After 5 seconds, release the SW_REC1 button.
- On the host PC, run the command
lsusb. IfNVIDIA Corp.appears in the output, the device is in recovery mode.
Note: the root password for MIC-710AI-00A1 is mic-710ai; for MIC-710AIX-00A1 it is mic-710aix.
- Use 4 pcs of screws (part number 1930007979, M3 x 4L S/S) to attach the mounting bracket kit to the unit.
- Ensure screw diameter is M3 minimum and length is 4-5mm when fixing the mounting kit.
- For DIN rail bracket installation, use 3 pcs of screws with the same M3 minimum diameter and 4-5mm length.
