How-to Guides

Install 3.5" or 2.5" HDDs in the MIC-710IVA
  1. Locate the 2 internal 3.5" HDD bays on the MIC-710IVA.
  2. To install 3.5" HDDs, mount the drives directly into the bays using the included 3.5" HDD Bay bracket (1960091140N000).
  3. To install 2.5" HDDs instead, use the optional 989K008734 module, which securely fixes two 2.5" HDDs into one 3.5" HDD bay, allowing up to 4 x 2.5" HDDs total.
  4. Connect each drive using the included HDD SATA Cable (1700017161-21). There are 2 SATA ports available.
Connect PoE Cameras to the MIC-710IVA
  1. Identify the PoE CH1-CH8 ports on the rear view of the unit.
  2. Connect each H.264 or H.265 PoE camera to one of the 8 PoE channels using standard Ethernet cabling.
  3. Each PoE channel supplies up to 15.4W and is IEEE 802.3af compliant, so no external camera power injector is required.
  4. Check the PoE LED indicators on the rear panel to confirm each camera connection is active.
Wire the MIC-710IVA Power Supply
  1. Connect an AC100-240V power source to the ATX 250W power supply input on the rear of the unit.
  2. Use the appropriate power cord for your region: UL Power Cord (1700027928-01, 125V/15A), BSMI Power Cord (1700027909-02, 125V/15A), or EU Power Cord (1702002605, 250V/10A).
  3. Use the Power ON/OFF switch on the front panel to power the unit on.
