The front panel offers 1x USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbps) port and 2x USB 2.0 ports, both with screw-lock mechanisms, a 3.5 mm 4-pole audio jack, and a DVI-I port supporting DVI and VGA output up to 1920 x 1080. Serial connectivity includes 1x isolated RS-485 port (COM1) with 15 kV ESD protection, and COM2/3/4 which can be configured as three 3-wire RS-232 ports or a single RS-422/485 port. The rear panel has four M12 X-coded Gigabit PoE+ ports (IEEE 802.3at, up to 25.5W each), a 15-pin isolated DIO port (4-CH DI, 4-CH DO), a 3-pin DC/ignition input terminal block, and a 3-pin remote on/off terminal block.
The system accepts a wide-range DC input of 8V to 35V via a 3-pin pluggable terminal block, which also carries the ignition (IGN) signal. Supplying more than 35V will damage the system. The Nuvo-2610VTC operates from -40°C to 70°C (EN50155 Class OT4) and can be stored from -40°C to 85°C, with 10%~90% non-condensing humidity. Note that for sub-zero or over 60°C operation, a wide-temperature HDD or SSD is required. It is rated for MIL-STD-810G vibration (Method 514.7, Category 4) and shock (Method 516.7, Procedure I), IEC61373:2010 Category 1 Class B Body Mounted vibration/shock (part of EN 50155), EMC per EN 50155:2017 Clause 13.4.8, and CE/FCC Class A per EN 55032 & EN 55035.
The system supports up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 SDRAM via one SO-DIMM socket. For storage, it has one internal M.2 2280 M-key slot (SATA signal only) for an M.2 SATA SSD, plus one front-accessible 2.5" HDD/SSD tray supporting drives up to 15mm in height and up to 5TB capacity.

The Nuvo-2610VTC measures 205 mm (W) x 156 mm (D) x 58 mm (H) and weighs 1.9 kg. It ships standard with a damping bracket, with an optional wall-mount bracket also available.
The Nuvo-2610VTC is the base model. The Nuvo-2611VTC adds an embedded SuperCAP UPS (2500 watt-second backup capacity) to sustain the system for a proper shutdown during power interruptions, and is taller (86.15 mm) and heavier (2.5 kg). The Nuvo-2612VTC includes a Cassette module providing an additional PCIe x4 Gen3 (2-lane) slot for an add-on card such as an AI accelerator module, and also has the same SuperCAP-style backup capacity (2500 watt-second) and 86.15 mm height, weighing 2.3 kg.
The system has four Gigabit PoE+ ports via M12 X-coded connectors, implemented using an Intel I210 controller. Each port is compliant with IEEE 802.3at and can deliver up to 25.5W to a powered device. One port (indicated in green) supports Wake-on-LAN.
How-to Guides
- Disassemble the system enclosure as described in the disassembly procedure (power off, disconnect all cables/antennae, remove the Cassette module if applicable, remove rear/front panel screws, and slide off the bottom panel).
- Remove the screws securing the heatsink and remove the heatsink to expose the SO-DIMM slot on the motherboard.
- Insert the gold fingers of the memory module into the slot at a 45-degree angle.
- Push down on the edge of the module until the side clips engage and secure the module in place.
- Reinstall the heatsink, enclosure, and panels when finished.
- Disassemble the system enclosure per the disassembly procedure.
- Remove the screws securing the heatsink covering the M.2 slot.
- Remove the heatsink to access the M.2 2280 (SATA-only) slot.
- Insert the M.2 SSD module into the slot at a 45-degree angle.
- Gently press the module down and secure it with the M3 P-head screw provided.
- Reinstall the heatsink and enclosure/bottom panel when done.
- Place the system on a flat, sturdy surface and turn the thumb screws on the front-accessible tray anti-clockwise to release it.
- Gently pull out the 2.5" HDD/SSD tray.
- With the HDD/SSD label facing downward, secure the drive to the tray using the screws provided (two screws on each side).
- Insert the tray back into the slot until resistance is felt.
- Tighten the thumb screws clockwise to secure the tray and complete the installation.
- Disassemble the system enclosure per the disassembly procedure to access the bottom panel.
- Remove the screws securing the heatsink covering the M.2 3042/3052 B-key slot and SIM card slots, then remove the heatsink.
- To install a micro-SIM card, slide the metallic cover in the indicated direction and lift it to expose the socket.
- Place the micro-SIM card into the socket in the correct orientation, lower the cover, and slide it closed to secure the card.
- Insert the M.2 3042/3052 module into the slot at a 45-degree angle and secure it with the provided screw.
- Reinstall the heatsink and enclosure/bottom panel when finished.
- Set the ignition control rotary switch on the motherboard to position 15 (0xF) to enable BIOS-configurable ignition parameters.
- Power on the system and press F2 to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- Navigate to [Power] > [Ignition Power Control].
- Configure the IGN Operation Mode (ATX, AUTO-ON, or IGN), Smart Off-Delay, BIOS POST Check, Power On Delay, Power Off Delay, Hard-off Timeout, Battery Voltage, and Low Battery Threshold according to your application.
- Press F10 to save changes and exit; the ignition control module will reset and operate per the configured parameters.
