The Nuvo-8208GC accepts an 8~35V wide-range DC input via a 2-pin pluggable terminal block, with built-in ignition power control for in-vehicle deployment. This design is intended to handle the heavy power draw from dual 250W GPUs.
The system is rated for -25°C to 60°C operation with 35W CPU and dual NVIDIA® 250W GPUs. In 65W TDP mode, the operating range is -25°C to 50°C. Storage temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. Note: for i7-9700E and i7-8700 running at 65W mode, the highest operating temperature is limited to 50°C, and thermal throttling may occur under sustained full load; CPU power mode can be configured in BIOS. Sub-zero operation requires a wide-temperature HDD or SSD.
The system includes two hot-swappable 2.5" HDD/SSD trays with RAID 0/1 support, one M.2 2280 M key socket (PCIe Gen3 x4) for NVMe SSD or Intel® Optane™ memory installation, and two full-size mSATA ports (mux with mini-PCIe).

How-to Guides
- Locate the two hot-swappable 2.5" HDD/SSD trays on the Nuvo-8208GC.
- Install a 2.5" HDD or SSD into a tray.
- Insert the tray into the system; the trays support RAID 0/1 configuration when two drives are installed.
- Locate the M.2 2280 M key socket (PCIe Gen3 x4) inside the chassis.
- Insert the M.2 2280 NVMe SSD (or Intel® Optane™ memory module) into the socket.
- Secure the module according to the standard M.2 mounting screw point.
- Confirm the power source is within the supported 8~35V DC wide-range input.
- Connect the power leads to the 2-pin pluggable terminal block DC input on the unit.
- If deploying in a vehicle, use the built-in ignition power control feature to manage power via the car's ignition system.
- Use the included damping brackets designed for wall-mount installation.
- Attach the damping brackets to the chassis.
- Mount the unit to the wall using the brackets to help absorb vibration (rated to withstand 3 Grms).
- Access the system BIOS setup.
- Locate the CPU power configuration setting (35W or 65W TDP mode).
- Select the desired TDP mode; note that 35W mode supports operation up to 60°C, while 65W mode supports operation up to 50°C.
- For i7-9700E and i7-8700 running at 65W mode, be aware the highest operating temperature is limited to 50°C and thermal throttling may occur under sustained full load.
