Advantech Launches IPCs for Machine Builders

Advantech has launched a series of rack-mount IPCs for machine builders. They feature a small footprint, simple manageability, and easy maintenance.

Responding to machine builder requests for compact IPCs, Advantech is launching IPCs that meet the demands. These IPCs feature a short depth, self-diagnosis, remote manageability, and modularized design.

Machine builders can easily integrate the IPCs in an enclosure, leaving more space for cable routing and internal devices.

Once installed, the IPC reports its status to a remote administrator before failures occur, saving on-site inspection costs and reducing risk of unexpected down time. Service staff can quickly swap key modularized parts, minimizing maintenance time.

ACP-2020 and ACP-4020

ACP-2020 and ACP-4020 both feature a short depth (400/350mm).

The built-in Intelligent System Module controls smart fans, checks fan speed and temperature. It also proactively reports any abnormal condition. Additionally, the front-accessible system fan, hot-swap drive bay, and redundant power module allow quick maintenance.

IPC-603 and IPC 631

IPC-603 and IPC-631 feature a short depth (308/350mm).

All I/Os are on the front, providing easy access to all cables, connectors, AC inlet, buttons, and LEDs. The IPC-631 also supports a hot-swap drive bay and redundant power supply, making cable routing and maintenance much easier.

ACP-4D00

ACP-4D00 features a short depth (350mm) and dual-node design, enclosing two independent IPCs in a rigid 4U cage. Each node has two expansion slots that are independently configurable for different tasks. For example, one node could serve as controller, and the other used for frame grabbing and image analytics.
