What serial COM port options does the MIC-710AIX support?

The MIC-710AIX has one COM port on the front of the device that can be configured as RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485, with pin assignments defined for each mode.

How do the Ethernet LAN port LEDs indicate status?

Each of the 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports has two LEDs. The green LED indicates link/activity: off means no LAN connection, on means link, and blinking means activity on that port. The green-amber LED indicates speed: off means 10Mbps or 100Mbps, and green (on) means 1Gbps.

How-to Guides

Put the MIC-710AIX into USB Force Recovery Mode
  1. Prepare one host PC.
  2. Shut down the MIC-710AIX.
  3. Connect the host PC to the MIC-710AIX internal Micro USB port using a USB cable.
  4. Press and hold the internal SW_REC1 button.
  5. Press the SW_RST1 button.
  6. After 5 seconds, release the SW_REC1 button.
  7. On the host PC, run the command lsusb. If NVIDIA Corp. appears in the output, the MIC-710AIX is in recovery mode.

Note: the root password for MIC-710AIX-00A1 is mic-710aix.

Install the mounting bracket
  1. Use 4 pcs of the supplied screws (M3 x 4L, S/S, D=4.8, H=1) to fix the mounting bracket kit.
  2. For mounting kit installation, use screws with a minimum diameter of M3 and a length of 4-5mm, 4 pieces.
  3. For DIN rail kit installation, use screws with a minimum diameter of M3 and a length of 4-5mm, 3 pieces.
