CoastIPC now offers the new POC-400 compact embedded computer from Neousys Technology. Measuring just 56 x 108 x 153 mm, the new PC features an Intel Elkhart Lake Atom processor and targets factory automation and edge artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
The POC-400’s Intel x6425E quad-core processor delivers up to 1.8 times the CPU and twice the GPU power of the previous generation. It also has an internal M.2 E key socket for a Google TPU or an Intel Movidius VPU module, which allows it to transform into a lightweight AI inference platform at the edge for machine learning or deep learning applications such as object detection, data collection, facial recognition, and video analytics.
I/O interface options include two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort connectors, a software programmable RS-232/422/485 port, and a 3-wire RS-232 port or an RS-422/485 port. The PC also offers two 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and one 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet port with screw lock, as well as Intel UHD graphics, a -25°C–70°C operating temperature range, and support 32 GB DDR-3200 SDRAM.
Equipped with one of Intel’s latest Atom processors and several I/O options, the POC-400 supports a wide range of industrial automation and machine vision applications and offers significant performance improvements over previous models for powerful compute capabilities in space-constrained applications.
