How-to Guides
- Disassemble the enclosure to access the PCB and flattop heatsink (remove top/bottom screws, the connection panel, and the heatsink screws) as described in the System Disassembly procedure.
- Separate the flattop heatsink from the PCB to expose the M.2 2242 M-key slot.
- Insert the M.2 2242 NVMe SSD into the slot at a 45-degree angle.
- Press the SSD down flat and secure it with the mounting screw.
- Remove the thermal pad protective film from the bottom of the heatsink.
- Reassemble the heatsink onto the PCB, reinsert the assembly into the enclosure, and re-secure all screws and the connection panel.
- Locate the 6-pin 12V DC input connector on the onboard system connectivity panel.
- Connect 12V supply lines to pins 1, 3, and 5.
- Connect ground return lines to pins 2, 4, and 6.
