How-to Guides
- Power off the system and disconnect all cables.
- Remove the screws on the top and bottom of the onboard system connectivity panel, then remove the panel.
- Remove the screws holding the flattop heatsink to the enclosure and lift the heatsink/PCB assembly out.
- Remove the screws on the back of the PCB and separate the flattop heatsink from the PCB to expose the M.2 slot.
- Insert the M.2 2242 NVMe SSD into the slot at a 45-degree angle.
- Press the SSD down flat and secure it with a screw.
- Remove the thermal pad protective film at the bottom of the heatsink.
- Reassemble the heatsink onto the PCB, reinstall the assembly into the enclosure, and reattach the connection panel and screws.
- Ensure the system is powered off before wiring.
- Use the 6-pin (2x3) 4.2mm wafer to 2x cord-end terminal cable included in the accessory kit.
